Job Description The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all Accounting functions for this dynamic & growing organization based in Santa Rosa. Duties include general bookkeeping, oversight of staff and support of budgeting and forecasting. The Accounting Manger maintains a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Account reconciliations · AR including posting payments, invoicing, and issuing statements · AR collections calls · Daily reconciliations and entering bank activity into QB · Assist controller and company president as needed · General Ledger accounting, Month End Close and Support in Financial Statement Preparatio Creation and implementation of accounting department procedures · Preparation of reports for accountant, CPA and business advisor Required Experience, Education, Knowledge, & Skills · Solid knowledge of QuickBooks · 3-5 years Accounting experience · Works well with others · Self-starter and self-motivated · Direct and good communication · Flexible work schedule Budgetary/Supervisory Responsibility · Has budgetary oversight · Has supervision of direct reports
