Activities include but are not limited to the following:

Type and maintain error-free professional correspondence including letters, memos, contracts, forms, reports, logs, and charts, spreadsheets as required by the program or department. Coordinate program or department office support function; oversee work of assigned clerical staff as needed. Coordinate meetings and trainings, including booking rooms, teleconference set up, and preparation of materials. Attend committee meetings as requested, take and disseminate meeting minutes. Maintain filing system, update as needed to keep current. Generate and maintain department or program specific reports, charts, and records as directed. Process incoming telephone calls, refer to appropriate staff, take messages and respond to requests for information. Record by date incoming mail, route, and distribute. Research and requisition supplies and equipment, and verify delivery. Act as an inter and intra Agency liaison for the program or department; promote positive communications. Assist with special projects as needed. Adhere to mandatory abuse reporting laws and HIPAA requirements. Demonstrate ability and willingness to utilize the newest technology to aid in achievement of department goals. Other duties as assigned.


High School Degree or equivalent. 3-5 years of related experience. Advanced Computer Skills (Windows, Office 365 and associated applications, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, Access). Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances are warranted. Must possess the ability to use computers in generating reports, transcribing minutes, creating presentations, and conducting research. Travel may be required. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
