Description: The Project Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs an indirect team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Ability to understand complex processes and how they impact the larger CRS and Fiserv infrastructure. Responsibilities: Provides clear analytical insight and understanding of the specific domain, including sub-process metrics, with responsibility for the execution of initiatives based on a detailed knowledge of the domain’s dynamics and drivers; Lead design of key performance metrics of the domain dashboard, with strong analytics background to adequately interrogate the domain dashboard; engages with sub-process owner teams to use available data / metrics to support domain priorities. Engages with domain stakeholders and sub-process owners to provide a big-picture perspective on the issues, challenges and opportunities facing the domain and prepares insightful analysis on the impact of those trends for the Transacting, and Pricing and Disclosures Domains. Oversees the process within the Domain, leading Domain Roundtables and other events to support domain leadership including Quarterly Domain Review material preparation, coordination of PI Planning events and represent Domain Owner in Intake Forum. Development of domain roadmap, including process improvement projects, clear review / understanding of project concepts and impacts of projects to the domain; inclusive of status of projects in flight and effective prioritization of IT vs non-IT investment hours. Base understanding of risk and control within processes of the Domain and escalation points. Proactive approach to identifying materials, credentials and other information, particularly from key engagements, that are relevant within and across domains, and sharing that information in appropriate formats with teams and communities (eg accounts, solutions, sub-service lines). Identifies cross-GCB Point of View (POV) sharing opportunities and collaborates with other domain teams on issues that cut across GCB business activities. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: Ability to synthesize and analyze information coherently and succinctly. Able to bring together a variety of perspectives and sources across the domain to deliver compelling analysis that supports business priorities. Confident in understanding multiple business drivers and talented at defining the root causes of trends. Demonstrates ability to use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies, including financial analysis skills, to synthesize information, review data inputs and provide analytic insights Adept at using strategically sound analytical methodologies and capable at coaching less-experienced team members to improve their skills in research, analysis, data analytics and visualization.
