General Summary of Job Duties
Manages all advertising department initiatives and strategies including SEO/SEM, social media, public relations and media buys. This position oversees creative development for all property projects, production and implementation of all advertising campaigns including print, outdoor and digital creative.
Principle Responsibilities and DutiesMaintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Core Values.Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the entertainment industry.Must possess experience in public relations, creative and digital marketing.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.Essential skills and personalities include being detail oriented, cerative, imaginative, innovative, good written and verbal communication and people skills, and open to change.Outline budgeting to meet profit goals as determined.Responsible for advertising budget including, but not limited to; checkbooks, expenditures, and labor for the above department and reconcile and code all department invoices.Responsible for all aspects of outdoor, print, radio, television, online, direct mail, collateral, signage, multi-media, web, e-mail marketing, social media, digital media, online reputation management and public relations including the planning, implementation, and follow up analysis.Manage Marketing Department Team Member’s including Graphic Designers.Manage all creatives to ensure Silverton's brand guidelines are followed, the requirements, elements and copy points of the job are included and correct, and that the message is clear and easy to read.Negotiate and track all printing and production.Send posting instructions and traffic instructions for every job printed or produced.Negotiate and track all media and media contracts.Fill out insertion orders for all media purchased.Manage all in-house signage to ensure all messages are current and updated as needed (interior and exterior).Manage creative messages on Silverton's billboards both in Las Vegas, California and on property.Manage creative messages on Silverton's on-hold and voicemail message system.Manage website content and Google Analytics.Manage creative messages for e-blasts.Manage content marketing for all social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) Manage creative messages on Silverton's in-house plasmas (Paltronics, Sentinel 3, Ticketless drawing system) and exterior on-property marquee and monuments.Review all new media/advertising proposals.Review and approve all written online review responses via Revinate.Manage all photo and film shoots (liaison between production company and all Silverton departments, managing all needs and timelines).Manage all projects outsourced to advertising agencies/freelance, public relations agencies, digital media, including budget management and billing reconciliation.Use Stratton Warren to upload jobs into the PO system, while tracking approval of PO’s and reconciling receivables and invoices.Responsible for initiating, writing press releases and media alerts and pitching stories for public relations via Vocus Marketing and PR.Provides for the professional career development of direct subordinates.Through a positive example, actively promotes an environment conducive to high quality customer service.

Skills, Education & Other RequirementsFive years of progressively higher levels of responsibility in leadership.Ten years of advertising and public relations experience.Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of creative, digital marketing experience and social media coaching advertisingDemonstrated computer application skills.Demonstrated proven experience in leadership, including organizing, staffing, planning, leading and coaching.Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Possess basic math skills.Advanced education in the marketing and communications industry and/or the equivalent in work years.
