Job Description Operations Technology Manager – Job Description Provide Leadership and Management of the Operations Technology Group · Demonstrate the company’s Mission, Vision, Core Values and Culture to your direct reports and to all other departments in the company · Coach and mentor your direct reports in the Operations Technology Group to learn and grow · Performance reviews of direct reports setting goals and objectives to be the best we can be · Work with IT as required in support of the Operations Group and Operations software systems Support Detailing Group · Software, Training, Troubleshooting · Provide expert administration and support to the Detailing department and Fabrication shops · Trade and Business use improvement in the way we utilize available tools and programs o Revit, BIM360, Fabrication tools o Collaborate with PRM Engineering to improve our delivery o Look for ways to improve efficiency of the tools and programs used R&D and Industry Knowledge · Understanding of all available tools and programs · Constant evaluation of how we are utilizing available tools as a company · Maintain a balance to be out in front of the competition but not on the bleeding edge of technology Active role in all Operations software · Develop training and implementation plans · Provide expert administration and support to the Operations group o Desktop, Laptop and Mobile devices · Program update, assessment and implementation · eSUB, BIM360, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote are some of the core tools · Assist Sales and Preconstruction when required to demonstrate our VDC capabilities in presentations and interviews Knowledge, Skills and Experience · Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management and/or related experience preferred · 5-10 years Managing HVAC/Plumbing Company BIM/VDC Group · Extensive experience in the following: o Revit o Dynamo o Fabrication CADmep o BIM 360 o Navisworks o AutoCAD o Microsoft applications o BlueBeam o Database management · Must be capable of clearly defining appropriate technical approaches and solutions to most critical mission challenges. · Multidisciplinary AEC knowledge and excellent communication / coordination skills. · Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. · The ability to lead or participate in team projects, planning, and execution. · Ability to train small and large groups of people in new and existing technology.
