Youth Villages is a nonprofit organization striving to help troubled youth and families live successfully. We are a team of 2,900 individuals who’ve come together across 15 states to change the landscape of child welfare and juvenile justice across the country. Our work involves providing an array of counseling and treatment services to youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems.
We are looking to make a new addition to our Research team! The goal of this position is to apply data visualization tools to Youth Villages data sources for use by program and agency leadership in operational and clinical decision-making.
This position is remote within the USA. The ideal work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm CST.
ResponsibilitiesCollect requirements from various departments to design data structures that support dashboards Work with IT on the development of data warehouses/data marts to serve as data sources for dashboards Develop visualizations that are intuitive and provide leadership with the information they need to make operational and/or clinical decisions Verify accuracy of data transformation processes that occur between the source data and the dashboards Develop reports on dashboard usage and distribute to appropriate leadership staff
Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Math or related field (required) 2+ years of experience a data science, business analytics or business intelligence role (required) Experience with visualization, data warehousing and related business intelligence tools, techniques and technology (required) Experience in forecasting, analysis, and comprehensive business reporting to provide accurate and insightful recommendations (required)
