Job Details

Seeking a talented manager to join our corporate development team, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industry and business experience and enhance skills in M&A, Finance, and Strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as collaboratively to drive change and make a positive impact on the business. This role will be fast paced, so the individual should be organized with excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and multitask is a must.

Summary Of Responsibilities

Contribute M&A target pipeline building and maintenance efforts

Conduct industry and competitive research pertaining to acquisition targets

Perform target business and financial analysis

Build M&A models including assessment of key business drivers, risks, and synergies

Draft presentation materials

Prepare research and analysis for assessing new markets, solutions, customer segments, etc.

Assist in various due diligence and integration work streams

Support ad hoc projects as needed

Train junior team members

Summary Of Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or another quantitative degree

MBA or CFA designation preferred

5+ years direct deal experience gained through investment banking, private equity, and/or an active M&A-focused corporate development group

Proven analytical ability and attention to detail

Advanced modelling skills and excellent presentation skills

Solid Finance and Accounting foundation

Solid leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as well as with a cross-functional team

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks under changing deadlines

Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
